Ingredients:
- 2 boneless chicken breast fillets
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper(optional)
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- bamboo sticks as required
Method:
- Cut chicken into strips, thread chicken onto bamboo sticks.
- Place peanut butter, water, coconut milk,soya sauce, salt, red pepper or black pepper in a bowl and mix to combine.
- Brush mixture over chicken to coat.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
- Add chicken satays and cook until chicken is cooked and tender.
- Serve Chicken Satays with chilly garlic sauce.
